Admiring the time and energy you put into your site and in depth information you offer. It's good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn't the same outdated rehashed information. Excellent read! I've bookmarked your site and I'm adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.

Hi ~

Yes, it's a WP site and I just picked a template that I liked and switched out the header to a different pic and messed with the colors. For me, WP is the easiest to use. Good luck with your new blog!

Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you're working with? I'm planning to start my own blog in the near future but I'm having a difficult time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

I'm totally dying to see it. You're gardening schemes are right up this suburban farmer's alley!
I have my tomatoes planted all OVER the place this year!

It just isn't that difficult. Even an okey like me with very limited space can produce quite a bit of produce in 5-gallon buckets surrounding my front yard. Wait till you see the upgrades coming to the Redneck Container Garden this spring ;)

Three cheers for REAL FOOD!!!

Nice allegory about the squirrel! And I agree to every point you made. It seems we have forgotten how real food taste like and settled with the ones that has lots of poison (albeit disguised as something else).

Hurray for home agriculture!

We're kindred spirits! I turned my suburban backyard into a micro-farm (yard), as well. I have three hens and no one has complained yet. Could be the eggs I share with my neighbor that keeps them quiet :D.

Yes, squirrels are industrious little creatures - my chiweenie dogs are doing a good job keeping them at bay lately...

Very well written!
I am already in the process of turning part of my backyard into my own farmyard :) There are some sketchy laws about chickens here, but I swear I will find a loophole! I love fresh eggs!
And those squirrels really do love to garden - they are always digging up or pulling up my bulbs and plants and planting them someplace else or tossing them over their shoulders.

BTW - thanks for letting me know that your comments work :)
